"Waited for an hour and 15 minutes with 3 people in front of me and 2 people working cutting hair!!! When it was my turn one of the ladies went in the back for over 10 minutes. I was so pissed I got up and left! Slowest service I've ever seen in my entire life!! Never in a million years going back!!!!"

"Quick service if you are there when they open. If not there when the doors open on a sat just check in online and come in an hour later definitely a place for a quick decent buzz."

"I'm one of those lucky guys whose mother taught him how to cut his own hair. And I do it rather well, I might add. Mom taught me well. I have had compliments. So for the past five years or more, I haven't set foot in a barber shop or salon. I just came to the conclusion one day after an iffy haircut by a "professional" that I could do way better without spending $15 or more plus tip. For some reason, this year I decided to give hair cutting establishments another chance. The $7 coupon I received for Sport Clips in a direct mail envelope is what got me in their door. I had seen this chain before in downtown Chicago and in a few suburbs and was intrigued by the sport themed salon with lots of TV's and locker room decor. Target audience is obviously men. So I figured they must know how to give a guy a good cut. No problem getting a chair without an appointment. I only waited a few minutes. I explained what kind of cut I wanted in fair detail (and even asked if I was being too "high maintenance"). And then the stylist went to work. She asked if I knew the clip size I use for the electric clippers. I told her #4... even though I use a #2 for the lower part of my hair closest to my neck and blend it up to a #4 near the top part of my head. But again, I didn't want to seem too high maintenance. Wait... ummm, don't you wash my hair first? I thought that was standard? Glad I had clean hair when I went in. I guess a shampoo is not included in the standard haircut price, and definitely not with the coupon. My stylist finished pretty quickly. It was okay. Not bad, not great, just okay. I did have her trim a little more off my troublesome cowlick. She asked if I wanted product in my hair, to which I said just a bit of gel. I paid, they gave me a coupon card with $5, $4, $3, $2 off regular price for future visits, and then I was on my way. Not sure that I'll go back to any Sport Clips location, though. A full price haircut just didn't seem worth the value to me. But, if you're looking for a quick cut and friendly service, and aren't as picky as me when it comes to hair, Sport Clips is worth a try."
